Code 39, also known as Alpha39, Code 3 of 9, Code 3/9, Type 39, USS Code 39, or USD-3, is the first alpha-numeric linear barcode symbology used world-wide.

Excel Code 39, also Code 39 Excel add-in, is an Office add-in that creates Code 39 in Excel 2003 and Excel 2007. The Code 39 images generated by Code 39 Excel add-in are highly customizable. Meanwhile, every Code 39 created by Excel Code 39 is compatible with ISO / IEC 16388 (2nd edition 2007-05-15). Excel Code 39 support images in GIF, PNG, JPEG, TIFF, and BMP. Resolution of the image is flexible in DPI. You can also rotate the image to 90, 180, and 270 degrees in your Excel. Code 39 Excel add-in integrates well with Excel 2003 and Excel 2007.

1. Download Onbarcode Excel Add-in and have it unzipped

2. Close any opening Excel files

3. Open setup.exe in the file that named Excel-Add-in

4. After Installation finished, open Microsoft Excel

5. Open Excel Options Window

6. Select the Add-Ins Tab as COM Add-ins

7. Click Ribbon Add-Ins, find our Add-in, and right-click on it

8. The setting column will appear at once at the right size setting

2. Input Data "123"

3. Select PNG in the Pull down menu Image Format

4. Set other properties accordingly

5. Right click OK button

Excel Code 39 Image Rotation

1. Select Code 39 in barcode types pull-down menu

2. Input Data

3. Pull down the Rotate menu and select 0, 90, 180 or 270

0 Keep Code 39 in its original orientation

90 Turn the Code 39 90 degrees clockwise

180 Reverse the Code 39

270 Turn the Code 39 image 90 degrees counterclockwise

4. Set other properties accordingly

5. Right-click OK

1. Select Code 39 in barcode types pull-down menu

2. Input Data

3. Set the resolution by inputting positive Integers X in resolution textbox

The resolution of your Code 39 bar code images will be X DPI(Dots per Inch)

4. Set other properties accordingly

5. Right-click OK
