a. In the Replace With box, type the replacement text characters that you want to use to replace the text characters in the Find What box. To delete the text characters in the Find What box from your worksheet or workbook, leave the Replace With box blank. b. Click the Replace All button to replace all instances of the found data in the worksheet or workbook. c. Click the Replace button to replace the selected instance of the text characters in the Find What box, find the next instance, and then stop. To go to or to select worksheet cells containing specific data values or specific characteristics, do the following: 1. In Excel 2007, click Home (Editing) Find & Select Go To. In Excel 2003, click Edit Go To. 2. To go to a group of cells that are tagged with a name (known as a named range), click the named range in the Go To box, and click OK. 3. To go to a specific cell reference, type the cell reference in the Reference box, and click OK. 4. To go to other types of worksheet cells, click the Special button, and do one of the following: Click the Comments option to select cells that have attached comments. Click the Constants option to select cells that contain text characters and not formulas, functions, or data values resulting from formulas or functions. Click the Formulas option to select cells that contain formulas. Select the Numbers check box to select cells that contain number-related formulas; select the Text check box to select cells that contain text-related formulas; select the Logicals check box to select cells that contain logical-related (for example, true or false) formulas; or select the Errors check box to select cells that contain formulas returning errors. Click the Blanks option to select blank cells in a selection of cells that contains blank cells surrounded by a combination of blank and nonblank cells. Click the Current Region option to select the currently selected cells along with all adjacent cells up to the first row or column containing empty cells. Click the Current Array option to select an entire array if the currently selected cell is contained in an array. Click the Objects option to select buttons, charts, images, and similar graphics on the worksheet and inside of text boxes. Click the Row Differences option to select from all selected cells in a row that are different from the currently selected cell in that row. Click the Column Differences option to select from all selected cells in a column that are different from the currently selected cell in that column.
