If this is your first time in the camera after installing a media card, your BlackBerry should ask whether you always want to save videos to the media card we recommend answering Yes to this question. Use the screen of the BlackBerry as your viewfinder to frame your video. When you are ready to record your video, click the Trackpad. This causes the light in the center to change to a Pause button, as shown in the figure to the right. 23: Fun with Videos
When you re ready to stop recording, click the Trackpad again to see the screen to the right. To continue recording, click the white circle in the left corner. To stop recording, glide over and click the white Stop square or press the Escape key. To play back the video you just recorded, glide over and click the Play triangle button. (Yes that probably is Martin s fingertip.) To send the video via e-mail or MMS (if available), click the Envelope icon. To change the name of the video or location where it is saved, press the File icon.

Changing Your Video Recording Options
Like the BlackBerry s built-in camera, the device s video camera lets you set a number of options for controlling the recording process. To access these options, press the Menu key and select Options. 23: Fun with Videos
For example, you can use this menu to choose from the following Color Effect options: Normal (color) Black and White Sepia (a quasi-brown, old-fashioned tinting) You can also adjust the Video Format option to select for Normal video storage or MMS Mode. NOTE: MMS mode uses a much smaller screen and file size that is suitable for sending wirelessly; however, it will be of lower quality than Normal mode. To choose where your videos are stored, click the Folder icon and navigate to a new folder. Remember, we strongly recommend storing your videos on a media card.
