YouTube
One of the most fun sites to visit on the computer is YouTube for viewing short video clips on just about everything. Your new BlackBerry is able to view YouTube videos without doing anything special. Just navigate to the YouTube web site (m.youtube.com) and it will detect that you are on a mobile device.
Search just like you do on your computer for any video you might want to watch. The video will load in your media player and you can control it just like you do any other video.

Connect With Wi-Fi
We live in a Wi-Fi world today. It is difficult to go anywhere and not hear about Wi-Fi. WiFi, according to some, stands for Wireless Fidelity (IEEE 802.11 wireless networking.) Others say that the term is a wireless technology brand owned by the Wi-Fi Alliance. In this chapter, we will show you how to connect your BlackBerry to available Wi-Fi networks, how to prioritize and organize your networks, and how to diagnose wireless problems.
Understanding Wi-Fi on Your BlackBerry
What is important to know is that your Internet signal can be transmitted wirelessly (using a wireless router) to computers, game consoles, printers, and now to your BlackBerry. If your BlackBerry is Wi-Fi equipped, you can take advantage of must faster web browsing and file downloading speeds via your home or office wireless network. You can also access millions of Wi-Fi hotspots in all sorts of places such as coffee shops and hotels, some of which are free!
The Wi-Fi Advantage
Wi-Fi is a great advantage to BlackBerry users around the globe. The advantages to using a Wi-Fi connection as opposed to the carrier data connection (1X, 1XEV, GPRS, or EDGE) are many: Web Browsing speeds are much faster. You are not using up data from your data plan. Most file downloads will be faster. You can get great Wi-Fi signals sometimes when you cannot get any regular cell coverage (1X / 1XEV / GPRS / EDGE / 3G), such as in the bottom floors of a thick-walled building.
CHAPTER 25: Connect With Wi-Fi
Setting up Wi-Fi on Your BlackBerry
Before you can take advantage of the speed and convenience of using Wi-Fi on your BlackBerry, you will need to set up and configure your wireless connection. 1. Press the Menu key to see all your icons. Scroll down and click on the Set Up or Settings folder.
Click on Set up Wi-Fi.
The Welcome to Wi-Fi Setup screen appears. Scroll down to read the introduction to Wi-Fi.
CHAPTER 25: Connect With Wi-Fi
TIP: To skip seeing this Introduction message, scroll to the bottom and click on the Don t show this introduction again before clicking the Next button. 4. When you are done, click Next at the bottom of the screen. You have two options before you we would suggest to first Scan for Networks. In setting up our own BlackBerry Smartphones, we never had to Manually Add Networks. Click on Scan for Networks.
Next you will see a status message telling you that your BlackBerry will then automatically scan for available Wi-Fi networks.
If Wi-Fi is not yet turned on, you will be prompted to Turn on Wi-Fi. Click on that option to turn on your Wi-Fi radio. You will then see a list of available networks. When you see the correct network name, just click on the trackpad.
If your network uses a pre-shared key (PSK) you must type it in at the prompt. Then scroll to and click Connect. You might also be asked if you want to perform a WPS setup.
