By directly punching in the number. Simply type out the number and then press the Menu button. Along with other options, you will see an Add to Contacts option. Select this and continue. Highlight the contact in your contacts list and press the Menu button. On choosing Delete, your prompter will ask you to confirm the command. On doing so, the contact will be deleted from your device. However, this does not erase the contact from your desktop, if the person s details have been synchronized already. Remember, if you choose to delete a particular contact, all of his her details (such as addresses, birthdays, and so on) will be erased from your device. Then, when you launch the Desktop Manager next (with the device connected) it will start synchronizing your contacts so as to update any changes. At this point, upon detecting a change, it will prompt you, asking whether you would like to accept or reject the change. It will also allow you to go through the details before making a choice. If you do not want any changes to be made in your desktop address book, you could choose to cancel as well.

However, on a more serious note, personalization of ringtones could prove tremendously advantageous in a professional context. Quick identification of your caller by the tune assigned to them could be quite a savior. Missing the call of your client or boss cannot go down well in any situation now, can it To do this, select Add Custom Ring Tone directly from the menu list that appears when you press the Menu button while a contact is highlighted. Change the ringtone as desired and Save.
