Practice 1
Create a Windows Forms application that will load a specific assembly and show all the reflected data as a hierarchy.
14 Review
Allow the users to list all the attributes for any parts of the hierarchy by testing for ICustomAttributeProvider and calling GetCustomAttributes.
Practice 2
Add functionality to allow the user to create instances of any type. Allow users to set properties and run methods on the created instances. Allow users to run static methods on the types.
Practice 3
Allow users to copy types into new dynamic assemblies and save the new assemblies.
Take a Practice Test
The practice tests on this book s companion CD offer many options. For example, you can test yourself on just the content covered in this chapter, or you can test yourself on all the 70-536 certification exam content. You can set up the test so that it closely simulates the experience of taking a certification exam, or you can set it up in study mode so that you can look at the correct answers and explanations after you answer each question.

Mail
E-mail is an extremely popular communication mechanism. Unlike the telephone and most other ways of communicating, e-mail is easy for applications to use. For a developer, e-mail is an effective way to allow an application to send files or reports to users and to notify users of problems or events. The .NET Framework version 2.0 adds the System.Net.Mail namespace, which provides classes that enable you to easily create and transmit e-mail messages. Messages can include plain text, HTML, and file attachments. At a high level, sending e-mail has two steps: creating the mail message, and then sending the message to an SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) server. Lesson 1 covers how to create a message, and Lesson 2 covers how to send the message.
NOTE .NET 2.0
The System.Net.Mail namespace is new in .NET Framework version 2.0.
Exam objectives in this chapter:
Send electronic mail to a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server for delivery from a .NET Framework application. (Refer System.Net.Mail namespace)
MailMessage class MailAddress class and MailAddressCollection class SmtpClient class, SmtpPermission class, and SmtpPermissionAttribute class Attachment class, AttachmentBase class, and AttachmentCollection class SmtpException class, SmtpFailedRecipientException class, and SmtpFailedRecipientsException class SendCompletedEventHandler delegate LinkedResource class and LinkedResourceCollection class AlternateView class and AlternateViewCollection class
