Toolbox Button
Usage
Use this tool to create a control that can respond to a user click to activate a VBScript action. When you activate the Control Wizards button, a wizard starts that helps you add common navigation actions when you add this control to your page. Use this tool to display an object that can respond to a user click to expand or contract a grouped display. If you click a bound data field and then click the Promote button on the toolbar, the design engine creates a grouping level for the field you chose and adds an expand control to facilitate navigation. You won t normally need to use an expand control independently. You can change the Src property of an expand control to display a plus/minus, left/right or up/down arrow, or closed/open folder. Use this tool to display an object that can respond to user clicks to navigate from record to record, sort data, apply filters, and delete rows in an updatable data access page. The design engine adds this control when you first add a field from a table or query to a blank page. You won t normally need to use the record navigation control independently. Use this tool to add an Office PivotTable to your page. You can bind the PivotTable to data in your database. G27qq12

When the hyperlink is not bound to a field, you can set it to open another document or go to another page on your Web site when the user clicks the link. Use this tool to define a picture on your page containing a hyperlink. You can set the hyperlink to open another document or go to another page on your Web site when the user clicks the hyperlink. Use this tool to display and play a movie file (.avi, .mov, .mpg, or .asf file) from your Web page. Use this tool to display a picture (.gif, .jpg, .bmp, .xmp, or .png file) from your Web page. Use this tool to add lines to a page to enhance its appearance. Unlike the Line tool in form or report design, you cannot draw a line on a data access page at an angle. Note The ClassName property for each control defines how the control operates, and you can change this property to change the look and functionality of a control. You can set the ClassName property to one of a special set of navigation classes to convert the control to a navigation button that controls the records displayed. For example, setting the ClassName property to MsoNavNext changes the control to respond to a click and move the data display to the next record. As you might guess, the other navigation class names are MsoNavFirst, MsoNavPrevious, and MsoNavLast.
