Opportunity Use this option to add a new sales Opportunity item to the business contact or account. Business Project Use this option to add a new Business Project item to the business contact or account. Marketing Campaign Use this option to add a new Marketing Campaign item to the business contact or account. To add an item to an account or business contact, select that item from its folder, rightclick it, and then select Create. Choose from the menu the type of item to add. Business Contact Manager opens a form that varies depending on the type selected. Enter the needed information in the form and click Save & Close to associate it with the selected item. The linked item then shows up in the Communication History folder. Creating Reports
What would a CRM system be without reports Business Contact Manager includes a range of prede ned reports that you can use as is or customize to suit speci c needs. There are reports for accounts, business contacts, business projects, opportunities, leads, and marketing campaigns, as well as activity reports by account, business contact, and opportunity. To create a report, click the Business Contacts Manager menu, choose Reports, and then choose the report category and speci c report you want to view. A report window opens and displays the report, as shown in Figure 19-33.
