Here s how to specify the options that appear on the AutoThumbnail tab.
Set
Controls the size of the thumbnail pictures. You should specify both a sizing strategy and a measurement. The accompanying Pixels box specifies the fixed size applied to the edge you choose with the Set option. The Set sizing strategies are:
Width
Select this option if you want FrontPage to make all thumbnail pictures the same width and calculate a height proportional to that of the fullsized picture.
Height
Select this option if you want FrontPage to make all thumbnail pictures the same height and calculate a width proportional to that of the full-sized picture. Select this option if you want FrontPage to make the shortest side of each thumbnail picture a uniform size and make the longest side proportional to that of the full-sized picture.
Shortest Side
Longest Side
Select this option if you want FrontPage to make the longest side of each thumbnail picture a uniform size and makes the shortest side proportional to that of the full-sized picture.
Configuring Page Creation Options
Border Thickness Beveled Edge
Select this check box to create borders around each thumbnail picture. The accompanying Pixels box controls the border width.
Select this check box to create bevels around the edges of each thumbnail picture.

Configuring Default Font Options
The Default Fonts tab, shown in Figure 45-3, specifies the character set and font that FrontPage displays in the absence of any specifications within a Web page. These specifica= tions don t appear in the HTML, and thus they have no effect on what your Web visitors see. They affect only the way FrontPage display pages. Figure 45-3 shows the available options.

Select the national language character set you want FrontPage to use for displaying text. Use these settings to control the default fonts in Design view:

Specify the font you want Design view to use when it displays normal text and the HTML doesn t specify a font.
Specify the font you want Design view to use when it displays fixed-character-width text and, again, the HTML doesn t specify a font. This pertains, for example, to text formatted with the <PRE> (Formatted) HTML tag. 1129

Configuring Code Formatting Options
The Code Formatting tab shown in Figure 45-4 controls the formatting of HTML source code. By default, this affects only code that FrontPage adds to your page. To reformat all the HTML in a page, you must open the page, switch to Code view, right-click the editing window, and choose Reformat HTML from the shortcut menu.

Configuring Color Coding Options
When FrontPage displays code in Code view, it shows different types of code in different colors. By default, for example, HTML tags are purple, HTML attribute names are red, and attribute values are blue. The Color Coding tab, shown in Figure 45-5, specifies these colors. It has no effect on any colors your Web visitors see.
Configuring Page Creation Options
To change the colors assigned to any element, click its drop-down arrow, and then use the resulting color picker to specify the color you want.
