Viewing Storage Space Allocation
To search for large or outdated document libraries, documents, or lists anywhere in your collection, display the Top-Level Site Administration page and then, under Site Collection Administration, click the View Storage Space Allocation link. This displays the Storage Space Allocation page shown in Figure 17-26.

Initially, this page displays disk size, number of items, date last modified, and URL path for the largest 25 document libraries in the collection, sorted in descending order by disk size.
To display individual documents or lists rather than document libraries, either:
Click one of the links under Select A View, or Make a selection in the Show Only drop-down list box, and then click Go.
To show a different number of libraries, documents, or lists, make a selection in the
Show Items drop-down list and then click Go.
To sort on any column, either:
Click on its column heading, or Select a field name from the Sort By drop-down list, and then click Go.

To toggle the sort order between ascending and descending, click the same column
heading twice in a row.
To view a library, document, or list, click its name in the Name column To delete one or more libraries, documents, or lists, select their check boxes and then
click the Delete button.
Viewing Site Collection User Information
To display all current or historical login accounts that have accessed the site collection, display the Top-Level Site Administration page and then, under Site Collection Administration, click the View Site Collection User Information link. This displays the Manage Site Collection Users page shown in Figure 17-27.

In This Site Collection toolbar button. This display a Cross-Site Groups page similar to the one shown previously in Figure 17-6. For information about managing cross-site groups, refer to Managing Cross-Site Groups earlier in this chapter.
Configuring a Connection to a Portal Site
If your organization operates a SharePoint portal server anywhere on your network, you can easily connect your site collection to it. Your team members can then add their lists to portal Areas, display portal server user profiles, link to portal search, and so forth. To provide this capability, proceed as follows:

1 On the Top-Level Site Administration page, under Site Collection Administration, click Configure Connection To Portal Site. This displays the Configure Connection To Portal Site page shown in Figure 17-28.

2 Fill in the following fields: Connect To Portal Site Click this option if you want to connect your site connection to the portal site. Otherwise, click Do Not Connect To Portal Site. Portal Web Address Type the URL of the portal s root folder. Portal Name Type the name of the portal site. This will appear as a link in the top navigation bar of each page in your top-level site. (The Portal Web Address field provides the URL). 3 Click OK to save your changes, or Cancel to quit without saving.
