1 Click the Add New Members link near the bottom of the Members tab. 2 When the Add New Members wizard shown at top left in Figure 4-5 appears, enter either the e-mail address or the domain account of each member you want to add. Separate member identities with semicolons. 3 Under Choose Site Group, use the drop-down box to select a security group for the new members. After you select any group, the text below the drop-down box will explain the capabilities of that group. 4 Click Next to display the wizard page shown at bottom right in Figure 4-5. If possible, the wizard will look up the new member s e-mail address or domain account (whichever you didn t already specify) and the new member s display name. Fill in any missing values. 5 Click Finish to create the new members. If the SharePoint server is using domain accounts for authentication, it will verify that the accounts you specified are valid. 6 A final prompt will ask whether you want to send mail inviting the new members to start using the site. If you click Yes, the message will appear in Outlook, ready for sending.
