Figure 5-18. This is the interface for adding Web Parts to a Web Part Page using Internet Explorer.
3 In the Add Web Parts task pane, search each gallery for the Web Part you want. In other words, click a gallery name and then scroll through the name in the Web Part List section. If a gallery contains more than ten Web Parts, either: Click the Next or Previous link at the bottom of each group of ten. Click the Filter link, and then choose All Items, Web Parts, Lists, or Libraries, depending on the type of Web Part you want. This may reduce the list to less than ten. Table 5-1 lists the source and function for each Web Part Gallery. 4 To add the Web Part you want to the page, either:
Drag it from the Add Web Parts task pane and drop it into the zone you want. Select the Web Part, select a zone in the Add To drop-down list, and then click Add.
If browsing the four galleries one at a time seems laborious, or if the galleries are large, you may prefer searching for Web Parts by name. To do this:
1 Display the Add Web Parts search form in either of two ways: Choose Add Web Parts from the Modify Shared Page or Modify My Page dropdown menu, and then choose Search. Click the down arrow on the Add Web Parts toolbar, and then choose Search. 2 Type all or part of the Web Part name into the Search Text box. 3 Click the Go button.
