Although you can create and configure Web Part Pages in a browser, that experience certainly lacks the flexibility and control that most Web designers demand. Uniformity is a key attribute of all successful Web sites, but successful designers want to choose their own uniform, whether it applies to a single site or to thousands. To meet this need, Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 has features that create and configure Web Part Pages with great flexibility, with or without the standard SharePoint menus, and formatted any way the designer wants. Furthermore, SharePoint themes and FrontPage themes use the same technology. As a result, you can apply FrontPage themes to SharePoint sites, even FrontPage themes you ve created or modified yourself. This chapter will explain how to work with both Web Parts and themes in FrontPage. Like the previous chapter, however, it assumes you have a basic working knowledge of FrontPage itself.
