Edit DHCP Pool window
From this screen you can see a DHCP pool you ve created If you re starting from scratch, click the Add button at the top of the screen: a new window will pop up, where you can create your DHCP server policies To make changes to a current DHCP server configuration, from the DHCP Pools screen, select the Pool Name You can see the configuration of the DHCP server at the bottom of the screen To make changes to the selected pool, click the Edit button at the top of the screen: a new window will pop up where you can make your changes (shown in Figure 18-7) Table 18-2 explains the fields you can configure on this screen To view the addresses assigned to DHCP clients in SDM, from the DHCP Pools option under the Additional Tasks button, click the DHCP Pool Status button at the top-right corner of the screen: a new window will pop up, shown in Figure 18-8 In this example, the router has assigned 1921681103 to a DHCP client
DHCP and the Router s CLI
Unfortunately, the only option in SDM to view the operation of DHCP was shown in the last section in Figure 18-8 To see the details about the operation of DHCP and to troubleshoot problems related to DHCP, you have to use the CLI
