As you can see from this chapter, there is a fair amount of specialized knowledge that is required to successfully prepare artwork for CD and DVD printing The requirements should be clearly described by your choice of replication services Any issues involving le transfers and disc formats should be clearly identi ed in advance of the turnover of materials to the replication service items can often be overlooked or mistakes can be made in haste when deadline pressures arise With some planning and forethought, getting discs replicated, printed, and packaged can be a straightforward and simple process
