Although a timeline might seem like a complicated and very technical type of tool, it is actually very simple to use and highly intuitive If you ll recall from Figure 4-1, trimming a clip in the storyboard view requires you to open a separate video toolbox so that you can adjust the beginning or ending of the clip When you re working in the timeline, the process is much more straightforward you simply drag the beginning or ending of a clip to trim it For example, here I ve dragged the beginning of the second clip to the right to trim off a bunch of frames:
