How Do I Hand Color Photos
Drawing EAN13 In None
Using Barcode maker for Software Control to generate, create European Article Number 13 image in Software applications.
Decode EAN / UCC - 13 In None
Using Barcode decoder for Software Control to read, scan read, scan image in Software applications.
There are two basic ways to go about this The first method described is layerbased The advantage of using layers is that if you don t like the result, you can delete the layer and start over You can also try several other effects of blending the colors with the underlying layer by changing to different layer blend modes

Using Barcode reader for VS .NET Control to read, scan read, scan image in .NET framework applications.
The second method for hand coloring is faster, but doesn t offer you as much flexibility as the layer-based method:

match the detail you will be painting
CHAPTER 10: Retouching Your Images
3 Choose the colors you want to use, then change the brush s blend mode to
Color in the brush s Options bar Then, when you stroke with the brush, the brightness values of the black-and-white image remain the same, but the picture is tinted with the current foreground color
4 When you re satisfied with the image, you can save it
74 Correct Perspective Distortion
If you hold your camera at an odd angle while shooting vertical or horizontal objects, you can produce perspective distortion in your image If the camera is not parallel to those objects while the shot is taken, it will distort the object by exaggerating the perspective, causing it to look unnaturally squeezed at one end, as shown in Figure 10-6
FIGURE 10-6
An example of perspective distortion

Why Should I Correct Perspective
When you took the shot, you didn t see the image in such a contorted manner, so if you want your photo to reflect the scene accurately, you ll want to fix this distortion Although there are artistic uses for purposefully distorting scenes, most of the time it is a problem Your brain compensates for this distortion every time you tilt your head to look up at a building This ability to compensate is what makes our brains different from the camera s brain If you want your final image to match how your brain thinks an image should look, you will need to do some sort of correction
How Do I Correct Perspective Distortion
The process of correcting perspective distortion involves stretching or distorting the image to re-form it back to the way it should look Some wonderful tools are available to make this a fairly easy process Here s how to correct perspective distortion:
1 Open an image that needs correcting 2 In the Layers Palette, double-click the background layer s Name bar The
New Layer dialog box appears
3 Enter a new name for the background layer and click OK This will turn
the background layer into an ordinary layer Background layers cannot be transformed
4 Choose Image | Transform | Distort The transform box will appear with
handles on all sides and all corners
5 Click and drag the corner handles to correct the distortion You ll want
to make vertical lines parallel with the sides of the image frame and the horizontal lines parallel with the top and bottom edges, if possible You may have to pull more than one handle to achieve this Figure 10-7 shows how this process looks
CHAPTER 10: Retouching Your Images
6 When you have corrected the distortion to your liking, click the Commit
button in the Options bar (the big check mark on the right side) or press ENTER to render the transformation
7 If necessary, use the Crop tool to trim any slanted edges that result If you
have dragged all the lines outside the Canvas (work area), this will not be a problem

Creating a New Reality with Composites
Digital Photography: 99 Easy Tips to Make You Look Like a Pro!
o far, you ve learned what you can do to a single photograph to make it better, sharper, and brighter Now it s time to enter the world of composites, the technique of combining multiple digital images into one You re leaving conventional photography behind to immerse yourself in the world of computer imaging, where your imagination knows no bounds At the core of compositing are the almighty layers that let you stack many images or parts of images in endless combinations and interlayer effects
