Create a New Sequence
You can create a new sequence and tailor it for operations you perform frequently on your PDF documents When you create a new sequence, you specify the commands that are run when the sequence executes, the order they run in, and how the processed files are saved To create a new batch sequence, follow these steps: 1 Choose Advanced | Batch Processing and, in the Batch Sequences dialog box, click the New Sequence button Acrobat opens the Name Sequence dialog box 2 Enter a name for the sequence and click OK to open the Edit Batch Sequence dialog box 3 Click the Select Commands button to open the Edit Sequence dialog box 4 From the left window, select each command you want to execute when the sequence is run and then click the Add button If the command has options, such as the Crop Pages command, you can set the options either by selecting the command name in the right window and clicking the Edit button or by double-clicking the command Remember, when you create a sequence with multiple commands, you can use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change the order in which the commands are executed 5 Click OK to close the Edit Sequence dialog box and then follow Steps 6 through 11 in the preceding section to specify how and where the files are saved After you create a new batch sequence, it is displayed in the list in the Batch Sequences dialog box To run the new batch sequence, choose Advanced | Batch Processing, and then select the name of the custom batch sequence from the list
