The agent baseline is a critical part of the release process of new management packs because the prime goal is to avoid introducing any new issues into the monitored environment.

The management server is one of the central components of any MOM installation. Any alerts that are generated by the MOM 2005 management pack should be checked and resolved as soon as possible so that you can ensure that the MOM infrastructure is operating correctly.
