circular shape, and the other is a series of squares that have been combined to create a step shape with the number 2 inside, indicating the second slide
Thanks to Jennifer Rotondo (jennifer@creativemindsinccom ) for this slide To create this circle, follow these steps: 1 Insert the curved arrow AutoShape, as explained in the next section, Draw Lines, Arrows, and Curves 2 Reshape it (as explained later in this chapter in the section Insert Basic Shapes, Block Arrows, and Stars and Banners ); then resize and place it as desired 3 Choose Edit | Duplicate to create a second arrow, and rotate it 4 Choose Draw | Order | Send Backward to move the second arrow behind the first, and move it so it appears to come out of the first arrow 5 Select both arrows, and choose Draw | Group to group the two arrows 6 Duplicate them, and repeat the process of sending it backward, rotating it, and moving it 7 Continue until you are finished 8 Ungroup (Draw | Ungroup) all the arrows 9 The last arrow needs to be retouched so that its point appears to be above the end of the first arrow To block out the end of the first arrow, insert a diamond-shaped AutoShape with no line that is the same color as the arrows Resize, rotate, and place it so it covers the end of the first arrow 10 Use the Line tool to draw over the arrow point of the last arrow so it appears to be on top You can barely see where this was done to the point of the arrow labeled Vision in the previous illustration
