Here s how to set the page properties:
1 Make sure that the document window is in Design view You can also use Code and Design view as long as the Design pane has the flashing cursor 2 Choose Modify | Page Properties from the main menu, press CTRL-J (Windows) or COMMAND-J (Mac), or right-click in Design view and choose Page Properties from the context menu The Page Properties dialog box appears, as shown in Figure 3-3 3 Set the properties as your page requires Click the Apply button to update the document window without closing the dialog box, or click OK to update the document and close the dialog box Click Cancel to close the dialog box without making changes
Setting the Title
The title of the page appears in the bar at the top of the browser window All Web pages should have a title, even if you don t include the title in the design of the page You don t have to use the file name of the HTML document as the title In fact, the title can be anything you want, although you should try to make it meaningful to a human For example, About Us is a better title than abouthtm
