Connecting a Mac to a Shared Printer
To connect a Mac to a printer that another Mac is sharing, follow these steps: 1 Choose Apple | System Preferences to open the System Preferences window 2 In the Hardware category, click the Print & Fax icon to display the Print & Fax preferences pane (see Figure 20-5) 3 Click the + button below the printers pane on the left to display the Add Printer dialog box 4 If the Default pane (see Figure 20-6) isn t already displayed, click the Default button on the toolbar to display it 5 In the Printer Name list box, select the printer you want to add 6 If you want, change the default name that appears in the Name text box
