to create a panel from the curves Also make sure that you pick two points from both curves simultaneously and move them together They have to be kept snapped to form a complete loop
Everything is set up and ready to make a panel and garment Using the Perspective view or the Outliner would be the easiest way to select curves Select ten curves belonging to the front side of the main cloth part Don t choose the arm area The order in which you choose the curve has no effect Choose Cloth | Create Garment This makes the panel and garment at the same time out of the selected NURBS curve loop If you didn t get the panel and you see an error, you need to see whether or not the curves points are snapped correctly, or if the curves are co-planar If the curves are not planar, it may be easier to draw the affected curve from scratch To continue from here, it may be a good idea to turn off Surface from Selection Mask at the top This way you won t accidentally select a cloth surface when you are trying to select a curve Select four curves belonging to the front side of the left arm and make a garment Continue to make the right arms panels and garments Make the back side too In the end, you will have six panels for this tunic Figure 26-4 shows the panels once they have been created from the curves FIGURE 26-4 The panels are created for the front and back side of the tunic

Create Seams
Next, we will create a seam to stitch up the entire individual garment into one garment You can achieve this by selecting the curves where you want to stitch and choosing Create Seam For this tutorial, always select curves from the back panel
1 2
Start from the left arm Select the back side s top curve of the arm panel, then select the front side s top curve of the arm panel Choose Cloth | Create Seam The seam is now formed between two panels, and they will simulate as one panel
