Using Barcode generator for ASP.NET Control to generate, create PDF-417 2d barcode image in ASP.NET applications.
The most recent filter is saved with the table not as a separate object if you respond Yes to save the table changes When you reopen the table, the filter is no longer in effect, but you can reapply it by any of the methods discussed earlier If you create a new filter, but want to keep the previous one available with the table, respond No when asked if you want to save the changes Of course, if you ve made other changes you do want to keep, you ll save the filter with them If you want to have more than one filter available to a table or want to save a filter permanently, you must save it as a query Queries are stored as separate Access database objects When you want to use the filter again, you can bring it back from the query to the Filter window or simply run it as a query

A difference exists between removing and deleting a filter Removing a filter simply returns all the records to the datasheet or form You can reapply the filter later Deleting the filter erases the filter criteria and the filter cannot be reapplied without reconstructing it
7:
Sorting, Filtering, and Printing Records
To remove a filter from a datasheet or form, do one of the following:
Click Remove Filter Choose Records | Remove Filter/Sort Right-click anywhere in the datasheet and choose Remove Filter/Sort from the
shortcut menu
NOTE When you remove a filter from a datasheet, any filter you applied to a subdatasheet within it
is also removed To delete a filter entirely, you need to clear the filter grid and apply the empty filter to the datasheet by the following method: 1 Switch to the Advanced Filter/Sort window It doesn t matter how you created the filter; you can still see it in the filter grid 2 Click Clear Grid or choose Clear Grid from the Edit or the shortcut menu 3 Click Apply Filter 4 Click Close to close the datasheet and respond Yes to save the changes When you open the table again, the Apply Filter button is dimmed, indicating the filter has been removed If you want to use the filter again, you have to reconstruct it
Printing Table Data
You needn t create a fancy report to print your table data You can print the datasheet as it appears in the Datasheet view or print in the default report format, called the AutoReport To print a single copy of the datasheet, click the Print button If you want to adjust the margin settings, the paper size, or the page layout, use the Page Setup dialog box If you want to choose other print options such as multiple copies or selected pages you need to open the Print dialog box To see how the printed report looks before you print it, you can click the Print Preview toolbar button This is useful when you think the datasheet might not fit across the page with the current page layout, in which case you can change the page setup before printing the data For example, Figure 7-3 shows the Bid Data datasheet previewed in three pages
TIP The Bid Data datasheet requires three page widths to print all the fields If the page orientation
were changed to landscape in the Page Setup dialog box, the data would fit on two pages See 13 for more information about printing data and running the Print Preview and Page Setup features
