all tables Other types of forms are available, but for now, let s stick with a simple form that shows one record at a time (See 11 for information about other types of forms and how to create them)
Part II:
Retrieving and Presenting Information
A new form consists only of the Detail section where most of the information is to be displayed one record at a time If you want some text or other information displayed in a form header or footer, add the section by right-clicking in the form and choosing Form Header/ Footer from the shortcut menu Both the header and footer are added to the design at the top and bottom of the form, respectively If you want one and not the other, you can use the mouse pointer to shrink the unwanted header or footer section to nothing The information placed in the page header and footer appears only when the form is previewed or printed, not when it s open in Form view To remove the header/footer sections, right-click in the form and choose the command again Report designs automatically include page headers and footers in addition to the Detail section You can add report headers and footers by right-clicking in the report Design view and choosing Report Header/Footer from the shortcut menu
