keypress() binds the event handler to the specified element that fires when the user presses a key on the keyboard. The difference between keydown() and keypress() is that if the user repeats any key by pressing and holding a key, the keydown() event is executed only once whereas the keypress() event is executed for each inserted character (keydown() is explained more in a moment). The output that we get is shown in Figure 3-41.
