MPLAB IDE FILE TYPES
While MPLAB IDE does a lot to shield you from the various les that are required and produced when you are creating an application, you should be aware of the different les involved in the creation of an application. When you are creating an application, along with the source code you should be aware of the need for include les as well as linker control les. When assembly or compilation is complete, the process will produce a number of les which, along with the .hex le (which is programmed into a PIC microcontroller) are resources for the linker and the debugger or emulator tools. You
