We have already seen how the endl manipulator works. It inserts the newline character '\n' into the output stream and then calls the flush manipulator which "flushes" the buffer. The ends manipulator simply inserts the null character '\0' into the output stream. The oct, dec, hex, and setbase (n) manipulators are used to change the number base integers that are input or output.
