Although many matrices can be created using Table or Array, Mathematica offers some commands for constructing certain specialized matrices.
ConstantArray[c, {m, n}] generates an m n array, each element of which is c. HilbertMatrix[n] creates an n n Hilbert matrix HilbertMatrix[m, n] creates an m n Hilbert matrix. HankelMatrix[n] creates a Hankel matrix whose first row (and column) is {1, 2, 3, . . . , n} HankelMatrix[n, list] creates a Hankel matrix whose first row (and column) is list.
