10. In Problem 9, count Halstead s 1 and 2 . Calculate and N. Count all strings as occurrences of one operand called string. Show your work.
Operators token cin if {} string count 1 3 4 5 token () cout < count 3 3 5 1 token ; > else count 6 2 5 1
Operands token a 10 count 4 1 operands token b count 2 token c count 2
Note: The quotes could be counted separately from the strings. The else could be counted as part of an if-else so the if would have two occurrences.

Risk Analysis and Management
6.1 Introduction
A risk is the possibility that an undesirable event (called the risk event) could happen. Risks involve both uncertainty (events that are guaranteed to happen are not risks) and loss (events that don t negatively a ect the project are not risks). Proactive risk management is the process of trying to minimize the possible bad e ects of risk events happening.1 There is disagreement about what risks should be managed. Some experts suggest that only risks that are unique to the current project should be considered in risk analysis and management. Their view is that the management of risks common to most projects should be incorporated into the software process.
Risk Identi cation
This is the process of identifying possible risks. Risks can be classi ed as a ecting the project plan (project risks), a ecting the quality (technical risks), or a ecting the viability of the product (business risks). Some experts exclude events that are common to all projects from consideration for risk management. These experts consider those common events as part of standard project planning.
