One cool Evernote view is the Places View. If you allow Evernote to use your location, Evernote will tag all your notes by the place where you originally created your note. For example, if you traveled to another state, province, or country, Evernote would track that you took notes in that particular region. The image here shows one note taken in California and seven notes taken in Florida. To view these notes, just tap the markers (push pins).

You can then log in to your account from your PC, Mac, iPhone, or BlackBerry to check out or update your notes. See Figure 23 8. Utilities: Clock, Calculator, Compass, and Weather
The iPhone is very useful for a great number of things. Some of the most simple things and apps are those you might find yourself using quite frequently. Your iPhone comes pre-loaded with a few utilities that should prove quite useful. In this chapter, we will show you how to use your clock, set alarms, and use the timer. We will also show you the features of the built-in calculator and compass. Lastly, we will show you not only how to configure the built-in Weather app, but also a couple of other free weather apps you might want to add to your iPhone 4.
You might want to see what time it is in London, Tokyo or any other city around the world. You might want a wake-up alarm clock. How about a count-down timer to tell you when the pasta is finished boiling or a stopwatch to time how long it takes to get something done All these can be done in the Clock app.
CHAPTER 24: Utilities: Clock, Calculator, Compass, and Weather
How about calculating the tip on your meal, or other simple, everyday calculations what would 120 licenses of our Made Simple videos cost a company at $15.95 each Use the calculator.
You may find yourself a bit lost and need to literally get your bearings. The built-in Compass app can help you do just that.
How about the weather for the next few days in your city, or any city in the world Use the Weather app.
TIP: You might find some of these apps already in a folder on your Home screen, called Utilities. The Utilities folder will be there on new iOS 4 devices or clean upgrades to iOS 4. If not, we suggest moving the apps into a folder and naming that folder Utilities so all your utility apps can be in one place. See 7: Organize Your iPhone: Icons and Folders, to learn how to do this.
