Word UPC-E Add-In Size Setting allows easy integration to set the size of UPC-E Bar Width, Image Width and Bar Height and Image Height. You may adjust these properties during your generating UPC-E procedure.

Word UPC-E Bar Width Setting - Minimum X

Word UPC-E Bar Width is the width of the generated UPC-E narrow bar when using Word UPC-E Add-In. You may set the below properties to set minimum bar width(X):

1. Set the barcode type: UPC-E

2. Set the data: 654321

3. Set the Bar Width: 2

4. Customize the other properties.

The generated UPC-E image will be like this:



If two or five digits are needed adding to UPC-E, you may need to set the Supplement Data:

1. Set the barcode type: UPC-E +2

2. Set the data: 654321

3. Set the Supplement Data: 66

4. Set the Bar Width: 2

Word UPC-E Image Width Setting - Fixed W

Word UPC-E Image Width is the Width of the created UPC-E image when using UPC-E Word Add-In. You may set the following properties to adjust a fixed image width(W):

1. Set the barcode type: UPC-E

2. Set the data: 543210

3. Set the Image Width: 210

4. Customize the other properties.

The generated UPC-E image will be like this:



If two or five digits are needed adding to UPC-E, you may need to set the Supplement Data:

1. Set the barcode type: UPC-E +5

2. Set the data: 543210

3. Set the Supplement Data: 01234

4. Set the Image Width: 150

Word UPC-E Bar Width & Image Width Setting

UPC-E Word Add-In allows setting the bar width and image width at the same time.

1. Set the barcode type: UPC-E

2. Set the data: 789456

3. Set the Bar Width: 3

4. Set the Image Width: 180

5. Customize the other properties.

The generated UPC-E image will be like this:



Note that Onbarcode Word UPC-E Generator will automatically generate a UPC-E image with a minimum Image Width when a fixed X is set. In this case, there are two situations:

1. If you set the image width value, which is less than the minimum image width, the generated image width will be the minimum Image Width. When it occurs, see Word UPC-E Bar Width Setting - Minimum X and Word UPC-E Image Width Setting - Fixed W.

2. If you set the image width value, which is more than the minimum image width, Word Add-in will fill the difference with left and right margins generated automatically.

Word UPC-E Bar Height Setting

The height of UPC-E barcode image is made up by the width of the following five parts:

Top Margin Width The height of the top margin Float
